Life through art
Giannis Ritsos reads his text

Folegandros (Greek: Φολέγανδρος, also Pholegandros) is a small Greek island in the Aegean Sea which, together with Sikinos, Ios, Anafi and Santorini, forms the southern part of the Cyclades. Its surface area is about 32 square kilometres (12 square miles) and it has 667 inhabitants. It has three small villages, Chora, Karavostasis, and Ano Meria, which are connected by a paved road.

In the silence of dawn we only hear the mechanical noise of the video camera. Then, the village wakes up. A place of exile till the seventies, the island sees its landscapes, houses, people, seas, songs and history reviving. How is this done?
